Norwex Products to Love

The February Customer Specials have lots of ‘Products to Love’ and to add to your collection. I love how Norwex products are real solutions to real issues.  Our world is full of disposable products, like; straws, napkins, make-up remover cloths, food wrap… the list goes on. All these products are designed to be used once and then tossed into the landfills or waterways.  The impact of our “throw away” world is evident in the environment. I have visited the Norwex factory in China and have seen first-hand that Norwex is an innovative company that Loves our world and is passionate about making it a better place, one product as a time. Keep reading and see if you agree that Norwex products are “Products to Love, with Savings to Make you Swoon.”

Stainless Steel Drinking Straws (4 pack)Did you know? On average, each person in the U.S. uses 1.6 plastics straws every day. When you calculate the amount of straws a person uses between the age of 5 – 65, it adds up to 38,000 straws (plus wrappers)! They are rarely recycled, often contain harmful BPA, many end up in our oceans and are the top-10 debris items ingested by sea life.  Norwex’s straws are a lifetime solution.  Amy Cador, Norwex CMO, encourages us all to stop using straws on the Norwex Movement Blog, “Has to Cure the Tempation for Plastic Straws.” Norwex straws are made from polished stainless steel, don’t leach harmful chemicals, are hand washable (with Norwex’s Cleaning Brush) and dishwasher safe, make your drinks colder and are wide enough to slurp smoothies and milk shakes.  There are 5 people in my family… that is a lot of straws we can eliminate from the landfills and oceans.

Silicone Cup Lids (set of 4) Did you know? Every piece of plastic wrap ever used since its invention is still in existence and most of it ends up in our landfills. Plastic doesn’t biodegrade and it often leaches harmful chemicals into our food. Norwex Silicone Lids provide a great solution to help reduce your use of plastic wrap to keep your food fresh.  They are made from food-safe silicon, create an airtight seal on the mouth of any smooth-rimmed surface, can be used in the microwave or oven (up to 230ºC/425°F) and won’t hold odour. They can be used to keep food fresh in the fridge, or keep your coffee hot on your desk. These Silicone Lids are a superior and a simple way to reduce our use of plastic.

Love Your Laundry

Stain Remover – We all have experienced spilling coffee on our favourite white shirt and spaghetti stains on our kids’ shirts!  The Norwex Stain Remover works to penetrate, dissolve and eliminate most food, soil, protein, grease and sugar stains on contact.  It is gentle enough for delicate fabrics, works in all temperatures, is biodegradable and is ultra-concentrated. Your cloths will LOVE it and so will the environment.

Wrinkle Release Spray – This is a great time saver and great alternative to ironing the wrinkles from your favourite shirt.  It is made with natural-fragrance biodegradable ingredients, similar to those found in natural hair conditioners.  Just like when you condition your hair, the fibers in your clothing are gently conditioned while the shape is maintained.  To use, simply spray the cloth lightly, then gently tug and smooth wrinkles away. It is a perfect size to tuck in your suitcase for travel!
